My name is Audrey Spanko, and I am on a mission to improve the well-being of all Texans. I am an East Texas native and a licensed social worker. I’ve received two social work degrees from the University of Texas, and over the last decade I’ve worked for nonprofits, healthcare facilities, and the Department of Family and Protective Services.
I’m proud of the work I’ve done helping people find stable housing and access to medical care, and of my role as an advocate for children, women, and families in Texas. Through this work I’ve witnessed the impact of ineffective Texas politics, and I’m tired of it.
Northeast Texas is home to compassionate, hardworking individuals who deserve better representation in Austin.
